My name is Rick Shephard, and I want to represent the 28th District in the State Assembly. As a lifelong Californian and resident of Salinas, I have seen disturbing changes in our state government, policies, and standard of living over the past few years.
We as a community can no longer allow the mismanagement of our tax dollars which have led to higher taxes, higher state fees, cuts to our school system, cuts to our public services, cuts to our public safety agencies, and continuously growing levels of unemployment. Californians need a government they can trust and depend on. That's why I'm running for State Assembly. Let's work together to make a difference!
